Company Profile
Since 1992 the Directors of Idapt-Planning Ltd have been providing consultancy, design and specialised IT solutions to local authorities, health authorities, companies and private individuals.
Simple, innovative design solutions are at the heart of the company’s philosophy.
We take the knowledge and expertise gained from working within a successful Project Management and Surveying Practice, and apply it to provide simple design tools, for use by healthcare professionals.
In 1985 we were instructed to design and project manage our first Disabled Adaptation, converting and extending an inaccessible property to become a fully adapted accessible space. Since then we have built on this expertise, working closely with Occupational Therapists, to provide, creative adaptations for the end user.
Idapt-Planning Ltd are now spearheading the production and design of an innovative space planning application to assist the healthcare professional in providing design solutions for their clients.

Our Concept
Our concept was to design a drawing application specifically for Occupational Therapists. This had to be affordable, simple to use and accessible through its web based design . Idapt (Interactive Design and Planning Tool) is the culmination of months of research and development.
We are very optimistic about the new Idapt application and early consultation across the industry has met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
Our Goals
Everyone involved with Idapt-Planning is very excited about this unique application and feels that it will fundamentally enhance the way the Occupational Therapist works. We aim to deliver greater flexibility in the working environment and believe that Idapt should be a constantly evolving product. Idapt will be supported by an on-going programme of improvement and development.
We have already identified possible areas for enhancement, including the option of an open forum for Occupational Therapists to exchange ideas. and share knowledge. We would welcome your feedback and comments about what you would like to see on the site. These discussions will enable us, at Idapt, to continue to deliver the most comprehensive application.
Whilst the programme has been initially developed for the Occupational Therapist market, we feel there are other sectors which could benefit from this facility. In its current format it would be attractive to Local Authority surveyors, Housing Associations and hoist and lift suppliers. As we continue to develop the application we hope to expand the user groups.
