Nationwide Approved Vechicle
The initial Idapt‐Planning concept and the programme design were shown to a number of Occupational Therapists in the latter half of 2007, with a view to inviting their opinions and responses. The overwhelming response was very positive, including the suggestion that this might become the ‘Nationwide Approved Vehicle’ across the profession allowing for easy exchange of information.

Why support Idapt when we supply our own drawing programme for customer's use?
Some suppliers already provide drawing programmes to assist in design when using their products. These are available to their clients and clearly have a value. Local Authority procedures demand that employees cannot be seen to favour a specific supplier, therefore, sites which are available on this basis contravene this ruling. Idapt-Planning is based around the products of a number of manufacturers , making the system compliant with the legislation and attractive to the OT who has this data readily available. The Idapt-Planning drawing tool is a simple to use and being web‐based there is no software to install.
